More stability in form creation and the ability to email users outside the project
This release of 4HSE is a bit of a “nerdy” one, with the introduction of a new development framework. But let’s take a step back and explain, especially for non-tech folks, what a framework actually is.
What is a Framework?
A framework is a software infrastructure that provides developers with a set of guidelines and tools for writing code. In other words, it’s a collection of utilities and instructions that helps teams build software faster and in a more coordinated way.
Introducing the new “Kalo” framework
A new UI framework, called “Kalo,” has been developed and will now be used within 4HSE. It’s specifically applied to the widgets used to build and customize user-generated forms.
The ability to create forms was already available in the platform, but both the editor and the widgets have now been rebuilt and re-implemented using this new framework.
From a user perspective, visible changes are minimal—but under the hood, the structure is now more stable and performs better.
Emailing users not linked to a project
You can now add the email address of a registered user directly in fields for roles like Responsible, Assigned, or Observer. This means a user already in the system can receive notifications even if they’re not formally linked to the project as a Person.
Note: the email must still be registered within the platform.
